Stusa
SHORT DESCRIPTION
Stusa Street is within walking distance to the city center, and is associated with the central area.Located across two green parks Snopkivsky and Zalizna Voda, it quickly connects the center with one of the residential areas of the city - Sykhiv. The street, which once served as a floodplain for the Silver Stream River and was one of the tributaries of the Poltva, has a long history and an incredibly interesting vivid landscape of steep hills. Unfortunately, it is now partially destroyed due to its rapid urbanization. The high-rise buildings formed here to replace the one-storey single-family villas laid a completely new character and new town-planning rules, interfering with the existing hills.
Given all the previously described prerequisites of this site, the newly designed house was to appear as concise as possible, emphasizing the natural conditions.Divided into two blocks: an ascetic volume of black color, denoting the formed urban environment, and another - a mirror, reflecting the park and nature, dissolving in it.Austerity in contrast to excessive decorativeness, neutrality of the glass facade in contrast to the color finish. The house metaphor is a combination of two worlds that must learn to coexist with each other.
